Abstract Funding Acknowledgements Type of funding sources: None. Background Inflammation is the basic mechanism acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Among various inflammatory markers related to ACS neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR). Neutrophils act as a mediator response damage myocardium, while lymphocytes decrease because apoptosis caused by inflammation. Therefore, high NLR suggests further risk infarction myocardium. Purpose This study determines cut-off value and role at admission in predicting in-hospital mortality patients. Methods A retrospective cohort was conducted using data patients admitted with from SCIENCE registry between February 2019 November 2020. The inclusion criterion complete blood count measurement presentation. calculated absolute neutrophil lymphocyte count. optimal determined receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve Youden index (J) analysis. Patients divided into two groups based on value. In-hospital compared Chi-square test estimate obtain relative risk. Results total 1147 aged 60,70 ± 10,951 years old were included study. 15 صفحه اولPlatelet-to-lymphocyte ratio is a predictor of in-hospital mortality patients with acute coronary syndrome
OBJECTIVE Platelets and inflammatory cells are vital elements of acute coronary syndromes (ACS). Recent studies have shown that the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) is associated with several malignancies; however, there are not enough data in cardiovascular diseases. Therefore, the aim of this study was to explore the association between PLR and in-hospital mortality in patients with ACS. ...
متن کاملRelationship between Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte Ratio and the Severity of Coronary Artery Disease in Patients Undergoing Cardiac Catheterization
Introduction: Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is considered as an independent predictor of long-term prognosis in the individual patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). This study sought to assess the relationship between NLR and CAD severity in Iranian patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.Material and Methods: This prospective study was conducted on 500 patients with acute cor...

Aim: To evaluate the neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in diagnosed cases of coronary artery disease. Methods: It was a cross sectional analytical study. The participants included 40 cases with coronary artery disease and 20 normal healthy males. All the participants were in the age group of 35-55 years and were nonsmokers. Total and differential leukocyte count was checked by automated hemoana...
